If SA don't declare today even by taking a lead of 450, then I think match will be draw, as the pitch is not helping for fast bowling compared to fisrt session of the game, then it will be easy for Indian batmens to hang on till day 4. As SA donot have a quality spin bowling.

India / South Africa Second Test - 03/04/2008
India All out for 76 Runs in first innings ............................
Everyone expects the indian team to perform brilliantly everyday.. Life is not that simple is it? Everybody has a bad day at office. and sometimes the opposition plays better than you.. We get so emotional about every performance, whether its a win or a loss. I remember the message board with the same people saying that we are the best team in the world when we got Aus and scored heavily against SA in the first test.
Today, the same people are rueing the \'death of Indian cricket\'..Our opinion of the Indian Team is as inconsistent as their performance is said to be. Have a slightly more balanced opinion please and a longer term view of things. One bad innings does not make the team or any individual player a \'disaster\'. If that were true in life, all of us would have been branded a disaster the day things did not go well in the job. Sit back, and enjoy the cricket....
On a lighter note it confirms that we are really the 20-20 champions. We don't play more than 20 overs with cricketing spirit ! :)

Jalsa - The movie !
The movie starts off with the voice over of Mahesh Babu, he calls himself a friend of Sanjay[Pawan Kalyan] PAWAN KALYAN is introduced as an alcoholic and a person obsessed with education. Kamalini Mukherjee is introduced as PAWAN KALYAN’s lover, we are showed a brief scene with Prakash Raj, who is Kamalani Mukherjee’s father. In an almost unbelievable and comical fashion, the scene is carried forward into PAWAN KALYAN attending Kamalani Mukherjee’s wedding with another person. 52 weeks later, Ileana and Parvathi Melton enter his life in the form of an introduction fight to establish PAWAN KALYAN’s skills.
Fun and frolic follow for the next few minutes; Ileana wins PAWAN KALYAN over with the help of hilarious Sunil. In the mean while we are introduced to Mukesh Rushi and his trusted ally Tanikela Bharani. A notorious factionist that lives on settlements is Mukesh Rishi. MUKESH RISHI runs all his operations from within the Jail. He is further established in a beautifully choreographed land takeover fight scene.
Comedy works well between PAWAN KALYAN and Ileana, Mukesh Rishi is established in the side track, songs work well and everything seems to be going amazingly well, the anticipation of something big looming between PAWAN KALYAN and MUKESH RISHI builds expectation.
Mukesh Rishi spots Pawan Kalyan for the first time in the movie; he wants to grab him but fails. Pawan Kalyan is totally unaware of all this happening around him. Mukesh Rishi plots an execution but calls it off at the last moment stating, PAWAN KALYAN needs to suffer before this death. From here on it’s a cat and mouse game, or should we just say it’s a cat’s game as Pawan Kalyan is forced to encounter near misses of death. In one such encounter, Ali is grabbed from the group of PAWAN KALYAN’s friends and a fight follows, this is where PAWAN KALYAN reveals in an emotional state that he has had a hard childhood, which included poverty. However this is where Pawan Kalyan is unable to do justice to the dialogues, his histrionics do not suit these kind of emotional dialogues, also the build up to the scene being a very weak one does not help. This in turn leaves us at a very weak interval, which if not for the last five minutes of the first half was an amazing first part of the movie.
Second half starts off with PAWAN KALYAN narrating a flashback about his miserable childhood and young life. This includes a brief stint with the naxalites, this is where the story starts falling off one bit at a time. The reason for PAWAN KALYAN joining the naxals is justified, but the reason why he leaves them is totally illogical, what with Mahesh Babu’s voice over telling us that he had been promoted to a higher cadre in the group.
Groups of fighters start mobbing PAWAN KALYAN from nowhere and he just dismisses them, In the meanwhile the love drama takes a few twists, Ileana’s father being Prakash Raj the police officer who changed (assumed) PAWAN KALYAN.
When the Villain of the movie is showed in a massive powerful position, you would assume an excellent scene or two will follow between them. But nothing like that happens in the entirety of the movie, including the climax.
The Songs
You and I, My heart is beating and Gallo Telinattundhe are amazingly picturised, the title track, Jennifer Lopez and Chalore Chalore are pitifully picturised with no build up to the songs at all. They just seem they popped out of nowhere.
Pawan Kalyan
Pawan Kalyan is first rate and his comedy worked amazingly well, his fights have been choreographed well and his dance is crisp, but I must say we wanted Pawan Kalyan to dance for the song "Jalsa"rather than walk or beat up the villains.
Trivikram Srenivas is confused, the story made me wonder if this was a love story, a factionist story or a Naxalite story. A bit more clarity would have been better received by the audience. Trivikram has absolutely wonderful songs and an amazingly talented star cast which were at this disposal. Parvathi Melton was wasted. Comedy worked well, including Brahmanandam.
Overall Jalsa is ok, definitely your money’s worth, with amazing care taken to every detail but don’t think too hard about logic or story. Just take it as it comes. Once you start thinking about the story it’s an absolute no brainer from Trivikram.

Race - The Movie : Courtesy HSBC Bank
Saw the movie Race on March 23rd at IMax Theatre from 5 :30 - 8:30 pm.
Were placed reasonably in D6 -D9 rows. ie Me,Avinash,Krishiv,Raghu.
Had Coke, French Fries and Popcorn for our company during the 3 hours :)
The movie is courtesy HSBC Bank with which we are opening a saving account.
Now for the movie part . The race is between two step-brothers and the plot is still devised on the undying life-insurance money. One brother’s murder is other brother’s money. And each one is set to outdo the other.But in this race, the makers attempt to overtake your sensibilities. Subsequently the film resorts to the trademark tricks to induce thrills. But for someone fed (or fed up) on a staple diet of Abbas-Mustan suspense dramas, it isn’t much difficult to predict at what instance will the director-duo double cross. The perceptive viewer races ahead of the director’s shock-treatment tactics and isn’t duped. After all, the scheme of one-upmanship between two male rivals has been already exploited by the directors in many movies earlier.
There’s also a Karamchand kinda investigating officer (Anil Kapoor) who substitutes the detective’s carrot by chomping fruitlessly to glory. This Karamchand also has Kitty (Sameera Reddy) for company .En route their investigation, the officer also flirts with his simpleton secretary on Cape Town beaches as the film takes a excuse to exhibit bikinis.
The Actual Story : Ranvir (Saif Ali Khan) and Rajiv (Akshaye Khanna) are half brothers who own a huge stud farm in Durban, South Africa. They breed horses on their huge ranch house and are also the biggest bookies in the horse racing circuit.
Ranvir, the elder of the two, is known to be a very shrewd man. He is very aggressive, and is always on the move. His half brother Rajiv, on the other hand, is very laid back and is also a chronic alcoholic.
Sophia (Katrina Kaif) is Ranvir's personal secretary. She adores her boss and loves him. Ranvir is totally unaware of her feeling and regards her adoration as her efficiency.
Shaina (Bipasha Basu) is an upcoming Indian ramp model in Durban. She and Ranvir share a very beautiful relationship, which is just on the borderline of love.
R.D. (Anil Kapoor) is a flamboyant police detective who lives by his wits. He has a strange addiction to fruits. He provides the film with witty humor and a very intriguing murder investigation.
Mini (Sameera Reddy) is R.D's personal assistant. She is as dumb as a blonde can be, in spite of being a brunette.
Shaina loves Ranvir, but through a twist of fate, gets married to his younger brother Rajiv. When she discovers that Rajiv is a chronic alcoholic, her world is shattered.
Ranvir too is disturbed, as he has sacrificed his love for his younger brother, because Rajiv had promised him that if he gets married to Shaina, he will leave alcohol forever.
Rajiv, after getting married, breaks his promise and the story starts getting complicated. In a weak moment, Ranvir and Shaina come very close to each other, and an affair starts between the younger brother's wife and the elder brother.
When the younger brother starts suspecting his wife, all hell breaks loose.
A murder is committed, a contract killing is issued, double crossings become the order of the day, betrayals are executed at the blink of an eye, and a point comes where you cannot pick the good from the bad, the evil from the righteous and the tame from the wild.
A sharp tongued detective, R.D, getting wise on the proceedings, starts an intriguing investigation with his brainless bimbo assistant, Mini, and the story starts to move at a breakneck speed, full of unexpected twists and turns making the climax of the movie impossible to predict.
A back drop of horse racing, the beautiful locales of Durban and edge of the seat excitement are the crux of this thriller.
